    In 1:1 sessions, we work at your pace to support regulation, safety, and clarity in relation to stress, symptoms, or life challenges. Small groups offer a supportive space to explore different themes together, with guidance, structure, and shared reflection.

    All work is grounded in nervous system regulation, pacing, and compassion rather than pushing or fixing.

  • People who work with me come with a wide range of health challenges and stress-related symptoms.

    Some have been diagnosed with conditions such as chronic Lyme disease, ME/CFS, Long Covid, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, or chronic stress. Others experience nervous system hypersensitivities, including reactivity to sound, light, chemicals, smells, or environmental triggers.

    What they often have in common is not a specific diagnosis, but a nervous system that has been under prolonged stress and is struggling to return to a parasympathetic state.

    I can’t promise specific outcomes, but many clients experience meaningful shifts in their health and wellbeing as their nervous system moves out of chronic survival and into a more regulated, supportive state.

    When the nervous system is stuck in fight, flight, or freeze, the body’s natural healing processes can be inhibited. Our work focuses on creating the conditions for healing.

    This work is centered around three core principles:

    • Reducing activities and patterns that reinforce the survival loop

    • Introducing practices and mindset shifts that support safety and regulation

    • Gradually shifting identity from being defined by illness toward a fuller sense of self

  • Nervous system regulation refers to working with the body’s stress and safety responses so the nervous system can shift out of chronic survival and into a more balanced, supportive state.

    When the nervous system is stuck in fight, flight, or freeze, the body prioritizes protection over healing, rest, and connection. Over time, this can contribute to persistent symptoms, fatigue, anxiety, and reduced resilience.

    Regulation-focused work helps the nervous system relearn safety and flexibility. This can include practices such as brain retraining, vagal toning, gentle somatic work, mindset and identity shifts, and learning how to relate differently to symptoms and stress.

    As the nervous system becomes more regulated, many people experience improved capacity, greater emotional stability, and a body that is better able to support healing and everyday life.

  • No. This work is designed to complement, not replace, medical or therapeutic care.

    Nervous system regulation focuses on how the body responds to stress, safety, and threat. It does not involve changing medications, treatments, or medical advice, and I do not ask clients to stop or alter any care they are receiving.

    Many people work with me alongside doctors, therapists, or other healthcare providers. If anything, learning to support regulation and reduce chronic stress often helps people engage more effectively with their existing treatment and recovery process.

  • No. I don’t see symptoms as “just psychosomatic” or imagined.

    Symptoms are real, physical experiences. At the same time, the nervous system plays a central role in how symptoms are generated, amplified, and maintained — especially under chronic stress, illness, or trauma.

    Working with the nervous system doesn’t mean symptoms are psychological or made up. It means acknowledging that the brain, body, immune system, and nervous system are deeply interconnected. Supporting regulation can reduce suffering and improve function, even when symptoms have clear physical drivers.

    Your experience is taken seriously, not dismissed.

  • People experience nervous system regulation in different ways, and results vary. Rather than a single outcome, most notice gradual shifts in capacity, resilience, and how their body responds to stress.

    Physically, some people experience reduced sensitivity to triggers such as sound, light, movement, or environmental stimuli, as well as fewer stress-related flares and improved energy regulation.

    Emotionally, regulation often brings greater stability, less reactivity, and an increased ability to feel and process emotions without becoming overwhelmed. Many report feeling safer in their body and less dominated by fear or urgency. Positive emotional states such as joy, wellbeing and gratitude becomes more available.

    Functionally, this work can support improved daily functioning, such as better sleep, increased energy, increased tolerance for activity, clearer thinking, and more flexibility in work, relationships, and everyday life.

    These changes tend to unfold over time as the nervous system learns safety and flexibility, rather than through quick fixes or guarantees.

  • I bring a unique combination of scientific training, professional education, and lived experience to my mentoring work.

    My background includes seven semesters of medical school, extensive personal study in neurophysiology, and ongoing training in nervous system–focused and trauma-informed approaches. I’m trained in and influenced by mind-body and brain retraining frameworks such as Primal Trust™, DNRS, the Gupta Program, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), Yoga Nidra, breathwork, parts-based work (IFS-inspired), and applied polyvagal theory. I also train on an ongoing basis with James Reeves to become a Deep Rest Integration Facilitator.

    Equally important, I draw from lived experience. I have personally navigated chronic neurological Lyme disease, mold illness and multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), chronic pain and fatigue, sensory hypersensitivity, anxiety, depression, addiction patterns, sleep and digestive issues, and medication withdrawal and tapering. Through nervous system–focused work, I experienced significant recovery and was able to return to a functional, meaningful life.

    Because of this combination, I support people who feel overwhelmed, stuck in survival states, or unsure how to move forward. My role is to offer structure, pacing, and compassionate guidance, helping clients build inner safety, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with clarity, resilience, and a fuller sense of self.
